Here I would like to announce that the International Prize for Biology has chosen the speciality "Biology of Symbiosis" for the 2010 Prize, and is now open for nomination.
The IPB is one of the most prestigious prizes in the field of biology. Past laureates include Motoo Kimura, Edward Wilson, Ernst Mayr, and many other great biologists. The prize is given in the presence of His Majesty Emperor Akihito to a laureate. The laureate will be gifted a certificate, a medal, and ten million JPY.
