WELCOME
Held every three years and organized by the International Symbiosis Society, the Congress is focused on a concept - symbiosis. Long viewed as an exception, a curiosity on the margins of biology, symbiosis is today considered ubiquitous and one of the main characteristics of the biological systems, which involves networking at distinct levels through molecular, physical, or physiological communication and allows evolution and adaptation. The theme and the spirit of the meeting, “Symbiotic lifestyle”, is an invitation to innovation and creativity and aims at opening horizons and creating avenues of knowledge in a multidisciplinary environment.We hope that this meeting will be an ideal venue for discussion, exchange and transfer of knowledge, helping to create new and foster existing collaborations and symbioses between researchers.
